Bean-bag Brouhaha

The Doser fears that the Portland decision to suspend Police Officer Christopher Humphreys is so riddled with James Chasse politics that the officer would have been suspended had he been caught spitting on the side-walk. Such a shooting-from-the-hip decision process clouds the whole more important issue of what force may properly be used by police officers.
