Bipartisanship Baloney.

By truculence and lack of cooperation, the Republicans have syphoned off more than a third ($280 billion) of the so-called "stimulus package" for their discredited plan involving the reduction of taxes to collect more money.

Wish I understood this one. Cutting taxes and increasing spending was a major feature in getting us into this mess and cutting taxes and increasing spending is supposed to get us out of it. Must be something akin to "a hair of the dog that bit you"?
